Eight New Commissioners and Board Members
The City Council just confirmed eight more of the Mayor's appointees to some boards and commissions:
Aaron Grunfeld -- Metropolitan Water District of Southern California Board
Estela Lopez -- Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority
Helen Mars -- Transportation Commission
John Murray -- Metropolitan Water District of Southern California Board
Jesus Quinonez -- Metropolitan Water District of Southern California Board
Sergio Siderman -- Taxicab Commission
Michael Sirota -- Quality and Productivity Commission
Nancy Sutley -- Metropolitan Water District of Southern California Board

I heard AV say he was NOT going to have any "Union" representation on the Commission due to conflicts of interest. Another AV "I said that then, but this is now" tact.
Hey.... when is Hillary Norton going to get paid for her "contribution" to our great City???

just keep the "professional" lobbyists off, and AV can load up every commission table in town with his own ham-fisted "amateur" ones.
He's been in office six months, and he still hasn't filled all the appointments yet? How many positions are still open? Maybe he can appoint Stuckey to something.
What is going on with Rec & Parks?
Only one is from the Valley.
Isn't Nancy Sutley a deputy mayor? He hired her to do that and then appointed her to MWD? Do deputy mayors have that much extra time on their hands?
Why on earth would Hillary Norton Orozco deserve money for?
What has she ever done?
