You could see this coming. The powers that be took Zuma Dog to lunch. Sometimes that is all it takes, but usually it takes more than lunch.

Zuma,
Would you care to elaborate on what happened with the po-lice. Better yet, any youtube video on this? I speculate (or hope) that you didn't act up like that brat UCLA student.

Precisely why nobody else filed in CD 12, I'm sure. Who has the money to go up against Smith? We all know the only way to get elected is either cash or to be uncontested.

If Alarcon goes against Cindy and she doesn't file, I hope the whole damned district votes for Fuentes. They'll be getting what they deserved and Alarcon will be outed for the traitor he is. Stay where you are Richard, who obviously voted FOR Measure R.

Zuma is a self-promoter, a liar and a crimminal.

He never intended to run for office, he can't even afford the filing fee (or did you forget he was begging for bus fare here a few weeks ago)

He "helps" us the was a stable owner "helps" a horse with a broken leg, he shoots us. He is a CHARACTER that he has played for some time now and managed to inject himself into the local political scene where he could get on TV channel 35 by acting like a complete moron at City Council meetings.

Notice his posts here rarely have more that a few comments. PLEASE SAM SEND THE DOGG TO THE POUND!

We ar tired of you Mutt. You scream your running for City Council to get attention and you didn't even try. You just used us.

Go back to Chicago Dave.

If you ask me, they used Jim Alger in CD12 to convince people that Smith would have some kind of fight. Even though Alger kept saying he wasn't running, people expect politicians to lie and well, Alger kept his word (as he usually does).

Now Smith, with more money than all other candidates combined, has an unbelievable warchest and nowhere to spend it. Pretty slick move if you ask me.

Since Kim Thompson was mentioned on another post today I'd like to throw in the fact that I saw her with my own eyes in Granada Hills on Saturday at a neighborhood council picknick and she was not jsut walking around with Grieg Smith but she was GETTING SIGNATURES for him! Imagaine taht and everyone knows Smith hates her guts. No clue why she would help him but since I saw her name here I thought I would bring that up.

Isn't it interesting as to which Councilmembers raised large amounts of money and are running unopposed?

It is my understanding that Wendy Greuel has 1.5 million nicely tucked away in a war chest. A war chest for what? A run for Mayor down the way or what?
