Did you know that CD 14 Councilman Huizar ........ ? A bloggin montage of Councilman Charro Huizzy Corleone facts.

".... found a willing blogger to believe Consultant Parke Skelton's spin regarding the usage of the CLARTS Fund? Thus, what did these allocations pay for?"

...... once approved a $75,000 reward for information on the double murder that took place near Oscar's Bar? Did one of the victims have a former close relationship with a Huizar family member?
...... has the largest turnover rate of staffers in recent city council history? What do the likes of Henry C., Frank and little Frank, Irantzu, Joe A., Belinda, Juanita, Alvin, Celina M. and many others have to say about their respective experience of working for Councilman Charro Huizzy Corleone?
"...... voted to not place a DWP Ratepayer Advocate on the March 2011 ballot after taking credit for broaching the idea? Has Councilman Charro Huizzy Corleone ever voted against a DWP rate increase?

...... was exposed by KNBC Channel 4, in attempting to charge his five-star luxury hotel stay to the City of Los Angeles taxpayers, so that he could attend his Princeton University class reunion?
...... had illegal renovations done on his El Sereno property as reported on by then LA Weekly Reporter David Zahniser in 2007?
...... Political Consultant Parke Skelton and Campaign Manager Michael Trujillo favorite blogger "Mulholland Terrance" wrote a negative and speculative post on now LA Times Reporter David Zahniser's report, regarding Thursday's evening Hermon Candidate Forum? What were the true motives for MT's attack on the supposed motivations of Zahniser's report?
" ...... Councilman Charro Huizzy Corleone serves the constituents of CD 14 at the behest of his political Papi, Mayor Antonio Villar?"
Your thoughts..............

Maybe some of the money went to shush some of the former staffers?

Several, maybe all, of the city council need a Bell type of investigation. It's the same kind of roundabout hiding of facts. Nothing is above board and clear.

Scott,

If I had ANY faith in you, I'd vote for Rudy.

But based on your very dicey RECENT history, I'm concerned about your veracity.

Tell us why we should trust you NOW based on your recent past?

This is a fair question, so don't even try to suggest it's not. I'm willing to listen to your explanation, and I think others are too.

And I'm not talking about your poor writing skills. I'm talking about your honesty and accuracy.

It's your turn.

Hmmm, Scott, why didn't you post my comment asking you if you actually did your due diligence on this subject?

I thought that that was a reasonable question.

The fact that you wouldn't post it speaks VOLUMES about the fact that you didn't do the proper diligence. You obviously didn't learn your lesson re: Gatto.

By not posting my comment, or that of any others, it says to me that you're motivated by personal avarice rather than toward doing something good for your community.

"NOONE" is going to trust you with this dishonest approach.

Jose please explain and provide reports, documents and the breakdown of the $$$. Itemized list please.

This will help your campaign in 2011. And especially your reputation at the present time.

Thanks so much for this. These posts are being emailed all over the district. Of course the Parke Skelton and Huizar groupies will attack you for some dumb grammer error and other things but they continue to post here instead of going someplace else. I was emailed these clips of Huizar against LAPD

"Mulholland Terrance" (sic) failed to read Zahniser's story and do his homework on a forum MT obviously didn';t attend, the same way Rudy Martinez failed to understand the particular question at the forum that Zahniser highlights.

(I blame LAUSD. Comprehension skills are tanking.)

Mulholland blames Zahniser for reporting the answer that to a question that the forum moderator asked.

Should a good reporter just ignore the gaffe's of a candidate? Or should he follow up on the information revealed voluntarily?

"...has the largest turnover rate of staffers in recent city council history?"

Alvin, really?

Okay, you had my attention on the turnover until you included Alvin "DOH" Parra. Not only was he not fired (and he should have been several times), but he only quit last minute so he could run against Huizar - sucking off the City's teet until the last minute.

Alvin Parra, the 3-4X wannabe candidate and failed LA32 NC "coup" leader who got slapped down by DONE and nearly got your neighborhood council decertified before you even had a chance to join it?

Parra, who was only on the CD14 payroll because he'd been a good little 3rd-rate soldier - and stepped aside in 2005 so Huizar could run as Antonio's replacement (his "quin proquo" being a job he was unqualified for).

Parra who was demoted twice for being even more clueless than most City workers?

Sorry, you just debunked your own turnover argument with that one.

I also seem to recall that mid-way through his second year in office, Nick Pacheco had an almost complete turnover of staff while in office, and by the time he ran for re-election, most of that second group was gone.

Huizar's been in office 50 percent longer than Pacheco was. I think their turnover rates are pretty comparable -- especially consering Pacheco was in office while the city had bucks to spare, and Huizar's terms have mostly been during a recession. In hard times, staffers can see the writing on the wall, and jump ship to avoid being laid off later or stymied in a job with no advancement possibilities..

Good morning Red Spot,

I don't live in this Council District, so let me ask a blunt question.

Why do you have such a hard-on for this subject, to the near exclusion of all others?

If I may, here's another question. I too am somewhat uneasy with the veracity of your commentaries. What can you say to win the full trust of people like me and 5:20pm, and others?

Please don't reply with some snarky retort simply because we're concerned about your honesty or thoroughness. I'm asking because these are legitimate questions from a mere bystander with no connection to CD14, Huizar or Rudy.

He will use 30 different sub stories out of this big story to keep Huizar mired in his own shit for the next two months.

It wont be pretty, but it will probably work.

Happy Clipper Sunday to everyone!

To those who question my veracity, I state this. When I was wrong regarding the "Mike Gatto" who was evicted from his apartment near UCLA, I took ownership of my mistake. Kinda like Rudy Martinez who has been truthful about his past. People of character "man up" when baring witness about their past transgressions.

Regarding the links on this post, one might want to ask Councilman Charro Huizzy Corleone to "man up" to his dubious political past, but don't hold your breath.

Regarding these

So's your old man!

(C'mon If it's "wrong" you should be able to come up with something better than that. If not, then just charactize it as "spin" -- which is of course, just very weak, flaccid "spin" itself).

Highest turn-over rate of 80+ staffers! This is the largest in LA City Council history. What does this say about Huizar's organizational and leadership skills?

The $$$$ belongs to the taxpayers, constituents and the voters throughout the city. CD 14 is not exempt.

I agree Huizar needs to come forward and clarify he did not do anything wrong? Your constituents want answers and that is it!

2:54pm People have been saying its the end of Mayor Sam since the days of Mayor Hahn when we were all on here back then. It won't happen. Using Rick Coca who use to write for Daily News and is now Huizar press guy should be doing something or anything to help his boss out. Say what you will but this thread has been blasted out all over the city and nation. Its a story everyone is waiting for the answer. The mere fact Huizar has not answered or showed accountability for the missing money is a huge issue and wont' go away.

The Times just came out with that sotry on Huizar's grading of civic adn community leaders. What a dumbass - you really know how to pick them Parke.

Rumor has it that Huizar based his list on Tony Villar's grading list for women. At the end, the list - just like Tony's - was to see who got fucked.

Why did Huizar put up a $75,000 reward for a drunkard shot outside Oscar's Bar located on the 3400 block of 1st St. in Boyle Heights? Please explain?

Taxpayers paid a $75,000 reward for a drunkard hanging around Oscar's Bar at 3:15am? Why was he and another male hanging around at 3am in the morning?

It turns out the $75,000 reward went to capture the gunman who shot Huizar's mother boyfriend?

Why?

The "Northeast" Field office's list is available on the Times site alongside the story. The other three lists are not.

I'd bet Zahniser is holding them for follow-up, or so he can contact some of the people listed and get their responses, too.

If he doesn't, you can bet Martinez's people will release them all - expecting a sh*tstorm to arise among the people listed. But I'm not sure that's what will happen. People "graded" poorly on the list and non-supportive are already not in Huizar's camp, and those listed as supportive will continue to be - after the furor dies down.

The biggest flack is probably going to come from LAPD officers and Fire, etc. They're all supposed to be neutral, and don't like being named as otherwise.(Which is why these politicians always have photos on their slick mailers with fake or retired cops).
