Michael Trujillo's date with City of Bell's Ratzo Rizzo at Twin Towers a non-starter

Two potential political cellmates are not going to happen. Think "Jabba the Rizzo" and "Princess MEAT".

With no apologies to Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, "dream with me" on what could of been an momentous jailhouse, errr, twin towers union of former City of Bell City Administrator "Jabba the Rizzo" and disgraced Councilman Jose Huizar Campaign Manager Michael "Chief Parker" Trujillo.

More after the bloggin leap.......

But once again, my latest day dream has ended with the reality that Michael Trujillo will not "frog walk" his way any time soon into the protect wing of Twin Towers. This base upon today's decision by the Los Angeles County District Attorney not to file any charges against Trujillo regarding his infamous "political bullet" email on CD 14 City Council Candidate Rudy Martinez.

Trujillo and Rizzo would of had cellblock quality time to discuss the respective looting of public money, tax money to pad the salary of Rizzo and the other members of the Bell Eight and Councilman Jose Huizar's secretive transfer of $1 million dollars of the CLARTS Fund to pad staff salaries.

Yet for Trujillo, the mere fact that avoided jail time for his idiotic email doesn't mean that we have seen that last of the "Political Bullet Email", it seems that "Chief Parker's" comments were not the only controversial aspect on the cyberdocument.

More on that in the days ahead.

Your thoughts..............

THAT SOUNDS LIKE A THREAT, Rid Sput.

I'm calling me SLO (he's a +2 on Huizar's "discrimation" list), and filing a COMPLAINT against you for threats!

HOOOOOO, ha!!

But OBVIOUSLY nothing damning of Huizar would come from that e-mail now, because THAT wouldn't be an issue - and the rich, grave-robbing Glendale Republican running against him, has PWOMISED to stick to ISSUES (when he's not running and whining to the LAPD like a whipped bitch).

You know, when you keep trying to equate the likes of Bell's Rizzo's absolute theft for personal gain from the public coffers with your unsustained beef about how Huizar spent discretionary funds -- (all on City business and all well within the bounds of City rules) --you're not dropping Huizar (Trujillo, etc.) down to the level of the REAL criminal.

Instead, you're making a mockery of the real crimes committed by thugs like Rizzo.

It's not helping the cause of better government to mix this all up. It may tickle your fancy as a non-participant in anything like real political discourse, but it's actually just muddying the waters.

Expect more from the DA, very soon.

And not related to any campaign e-mails.

They'll be pushed to answer the question of the money laundering into Martinez's campaign funds - soon, before too many absentee ballots are cast.

Scott, can you please stop riding Trujillo's jock?! It's seriously pathetic how you are able to find so much self-fulfilling pleasure in going after him like you even know him or can relate to any of the stuff that he does in his life, whether it be professional or personal.

You continue to show that your life's existence is somehow justified by your ongoing rants about him.

Gosh, I bet you're probably still a virgin!

The LA Weekly broke the story already. Lira provided copies of checks from Jaramillo's business that reimbursed him.

DA will have nothing criminal to say about Martinez and Pacheco.

I know you will be disappointed.

Trujillo won't be the only one to not be prosecuted during these campaign follies.

I understand there is a new "poison" e-mail circulating that promises to make this weekend almost as hairy as the last for Huizar's campaign.

Huizar's new (female) campaign manager has let his volunteers know she plans to "politically" SCRATCH Martinez's eyes out and bitch-slap his "political" aspirations into next year... then make him cry so hard, his mascara will run.

And, of course, Rudy is preparing to file a complaint about the threats with the FASHION police.

Joan Rivers will quickly be called in to investigate, but the problem will be that just as soon as she says to Rudy:

"Can we talk?"

... well you know, he'll lawyer up, refuse to cooperate, and claim (though counsel) that while he DID own some mascara at one point, but it was only given to him so he could match it with his eye shadow - but never actually WEAR!

More media pickups on the tail-end of the story, and more attention drawn to the backstory of the e-mail (Rudy Rich and his magic reappearing police badge).

Just what he needs! Keeping the flames up behind the scathing mailer from Huizar's camp that put the actual police complaint in their hands.

BUH-bye Rudy Rich.

Thanks for playing.

I think Jose has some tiny replica City employee ID tags for you as a consolation prize... closest you'll get to working downtown (uness you FLIP a house there later this year).

Huizar's buried transfers of CLARTS funds to his "Salaries" account in CAO reports is not criminal and Rizzo is clearly a thief.

Huizar's secrecy was not for personal gain, just political gain, and therefore he will not have to answer for it in the court room but he may have to in the "court of public opinion."

You have to love this country and the opportunity to vote your conscience.

Serving the needs of 300,000 constituents is for "political gain"?

And if I assume (JUST for the sake of argument) that your characterizations about how CLARTS funds were spent are true, how in the hell does paying your employees provide "gain" for you politically?

If anything, it provided "gain" for CD14 constituents (STILL stipulating... GEEZ wackos, I'M NOT POSTING SOME ADMISSION HERE on behalf of a politician I barely know...) -- by seeing to it the phones were answered, the requests were addressed, and the projects actually tied to CLARTS funds moved along.

That was something both the 2 prior CMs with access to CLARTS funds failed at. Huge numbers of projects were left dangling, with no one other than volunteer citizens even aware of how they were supposed to proceed.

If Huizar GAINED politically by moving work along that had been stymied, then, golly - isn't that how elected officials SHOULD act in order to get re-elected... by serving constituents needs, better than the previous officeholders did?

This whole "misappropriation" BS is just so bass-ackwards, it's laughable. There are politicians actually STEALING from us, daily -- but THIS one put non-tax money to use doing what there wasn't enough TAX money to accomplish.

And yes, voters will get to decide. And they will, by all real indications, and Huizar will be elected for another full term, and the buggers here will still be moaning that by GETTING things done, he somehow "cheated."

Hell hath no fury like a handful of gadfleas ignored, even when progress is being made... SHEESH!

Good investigators ask "why"?

Motive.

Motive.

Motive.

Why would Jaramillo put Pacheco's employees up to laundering money?

What could he possibly have to gain? Why would he (supposedly) throw thousands of dollars of his own money into violating campaign laws, risking prosecution?

For that matter, why would Lira and 9-10 other employees go along? According to Nick, the guy was just a "consultant" to the firm - a VENDOR, fer cryin' out loud. Why would most of the firm's employees bend over for that?

What could they possibly have to gain?

NOOOOO. We KNOW who had and still has not only motive, but a HUGE angry chip on his shoulder for losing to both Villaraigosa and Huizar. And, it's the only person in this mix who would have enough PULL with the employees to get them to play along.

Follow the motive, you'll also find the money.

This one was obvious to posters HERE - weeks before any actions started on it in downtown.

Because the people of CD14 KNOW "Tricky Nicky" and that's why they also turned him out of office after only four years.

He has the motive. And he HAS the track record.

ROUND UP THE USUAL (singular) SUSPECT!

Good investigators will get the middle man to flip.

Guaranteed.

Maybe Rudy Rich won't get any "official" punishment, but he'll be tarred by Pacheco's interference.

He'll just continue to be known as the DUPE who couldn't see through such an OBVIOUS scam. A scam readers here caught MONTHS ago. A scam ETHICS saw, the minute the got the paperwork.

A question for Huizar.

Why did you let the City overpay at least $5 million for the new DWP land on Hewitt St.?

Using the shill buyer so that the price could go up twice as fast in a 6 month period was clever...and during a recession....that's impressive.

Was that your idea or the Mayor's?

And you didn't even have to pay KOR Development directly...

They were having trouble paying back the Mayor's pension money weren't they? Financial problems for Henry Cisneros and Cityview funding.

It's a good thing that it was so easy to make a withdrawal from the DWP.

DWP made the real estate purchase public the same week that the Mayor...I mean DWP...withheld a $73 million transfer to the general fund claiming poverty.

So Jose, how much of this was you, and how much was the Mayor?

And are you actually following the City's General Plan, or are you just "leaving your options open" so you can rezone land for your friends....

It never ceases to amaze me how often certain people on this blog accuse people of criminal behavior, or use the threats of prosecution for one crime or another simply to make a hyperbolic point. It vividly demonstrates how frustrated, and by extension how squarely on the losing side the poster, in this case Mr. Johnson, is.

Every opponent is dirty, sleazy, criminal, under investigation or soon to be arrested by the LAPD, FBI or God knows who else. Doesn't it ever get old?

Wishing ill on others is bad enough but our politics is now such that winning isn't enough, we must tarnish our opponent and attempt to utterly destroy them professionally and personally. To hell with them, their family, kids or whatever, just destroy them.

There comes a time when God demands each of us look in the mirror and assess who w are, and who we are becoming. The time has long since passed for certain posters on this blog to do just that.

I'm tired of the embarrassing way BOTH the candidates have been behaving. They are both acting like high school bullies towards each other. They need to start speaking to the issues and some type of vision. Both candidates have been an embarrassement to Latinos. Everyone should stop the personal attacks on both sides and start posting what your candidate will do or has done then we can decide.

Geez, that one isn't drinking the Rudy Kool-aid, they're having it pumped in intravenously.

When you use that kind of super hyperbole, you lose the audience faster than when you utter flat out lies.

Will do, or has done???

Since Friday, I've received 5 mailers -- 3 from Rudy's people; two of them TRASHING Huizar, and none of it having to do with actual job performance.

And 2 from Huizar, neither one even mentioning Rudy, let along trashing him.... but just talking about Huizar's actual accomplishments while in office.

Don't harp on about who's NOT talking about their work, just because no one will bother to post it on these hater blogs. That's a waste of goodwill. Mayor Sam's is "goodwill-intolerant."

Meanwhile, accomplishment-less Rudy has been doing nothing but trash the incumbent, at every turn, and these mailers make it obvious.

The pot can't keep calling the kettle black and not have the people who get these mailers see the truth.

There's no "peace" - just under-the-media sniping, and most of it one-directional.

Keep it up, Rudy Rich.

3 more weeks... BUH Bye, thanks for playing. At least I hope all the hate mailers you've been printing have helped stimulate the L.A. City economy.

WHOOPS, not even that. Where's the GLENDALE REPUBLICAN having the BULK of his hatemail designed and printed? NOT in L.A. City.
