A "Cease and Desist Order" that "insists on" in the 46th AD Race

Los Angeles County Democratic Party Chairman Eric Bauman (top) and 46th Assembly District Candidate Brian Johnson (below) continue their "war of press releases" over democratic education reform.
No one has cease, charges insists and their is no order in this democratic intra-mural battle in the 46th Assembly District contest.
What started as a "Cease and Desist Order" against the Brian Johnson Campaign by Los Angeles County Democratic Party "Strongman" Eric Bauman has morphed into a intra-mural debate over education reform within the democratic party, that has help define the democratic candidates in this newly drawn democratic district in the Southeast San Fernando Valley.
Bringing you up to date on this intra-mural contest, Eric Bauman sent this salvo in the direction of the Brian Johnson Campaign after their "rapid response retort" to Bauman's initial "Cease and Desist Order" which we cut and paste below.
LOS ANGELES – Los Angeles County Democratic Party Chair and California Democratic Party Vice Chair Eric C. Bauman released the following statement in response to the Democrats for Education Reform’s statement on LACDP’s cease and desist letter:“The Los Angeles County Democratic Party has always worked side-by-side with teachers and educators to stand up and fight to improve public education for our students.“However, no organization or person, including the so-called ‘Democrats for Education Reform,’ is above the law and they may not buck the statutory requirements set forth in law. We are surprised at former State Senate Majority Leader Gloria Romero’s comments. As a former Senate Majority Leader, she is fully aware of the requirements of California’s Elections Code and campaign finance laws.“Third party groups, such as EdVoice, that deceive voters with independent expenditures to promote and insinuate the purported support of Democratic-sounding groups like DFER, while being funded by Republicans and conservative organizations, serve only to mislead voters and distort truth.“The Los Angeles County Democratic Party stands behind our cease and desist letter and looks forward to the Democrats for Education Reform’s prompt compliance with its legal obligations as set forth in the provisions of the California Elections Code.”

Memo to the California Republican Party, this intra-mural dust up in the 46th Assembly District campaign proceedings, is what the state GOP should be exploiting in crafting an inclusive new message that positions the GOP as the educational reform party in the Golden State.

But meanwhile for this blogger, the 46th is turning into the mother lode of bloggin content as we near Primary Election Day in June and to the contesting parties we state, "campaign onwards!"

Your thoughts ..............

Democrats for Education Reform is a national organization sparked by and validated by President Obama. EdVoice is a major funder of the CA Democratic Party. Bauman is an endorser of Nazarian. Bauman is abusing his position to favor his favorite candidate.
