Morning Briefs on the Los Angeles Political Machine for Tuesday

 Former CD 2/7 City Clowncilman Richard AlarCON Chief of Staff (and rumored "Lady Friend" of CD 1 Clowncilman Gil "Broken Deal Cedillo") Becca Doten, apparently needs to take a campaign solicitation refresher course, as her work on behalf of the Jim McDonnell for Sheriff Campaign, comes under scrutiny.
Has Becca Doten (to right of Richard AlarCON) gone from being the convicted CD 2/7 Clowncil Member's Chief of Staff to campaign solicitation rules-challenged Campaign Manager for the Jim McDonnell for Sheriff Campaign (while being the new rumored "Lady Friend" of CD 1 Clowncilman Gil "Broken Deal Cedillo")?
Oh the Political Visuals here!

With main challenger Paul Tanaka (and crew) last being bloggin seen at some "politically-connected eatery" in El Sereno, what could upset a now supposed campaign victory tour for Los Angeles County Sheriff Candidate Jim McDonnell? Maybe a former convicted felon CD 2/7 City Clowncilman Richard AlarCON Chief of Staff, turned McDonnell Campaign Manager Becca Doten.
Doten, who has been rumored to be the new "Lady Friend" of CD 1 City Clowncilman Gil "Broken Deal Cedillo" (reinforce by her production of a video tribute to his recently deceased father), was also consider at one time, a possible CD 4 City Clowncil Candidate. But being the Chief of Staff to a convicted AlarCON, surely ended that political pipe dream.
That said, one must ask McDonnell Campaign Consultant Parke Skelton why Doten was his pick as the day to day Manager considering;
Lastly, her apparented, challenged grasps of campaign solicitation rules, as reported by the Los Cerritos News .......,
It appears that the campaign for Los Angeles County Sheriff candidate Jim McDonnell broke California non-profit status laws on Tuesday when it sent out an email announcing the endorsement from the California Contract Cities Association and its president Artesia City Councilman Victor Manalo.
The email had a donation button at the bottom of the announcement that directed readers to “Donate” to the Mc Donnell for Sheriff Campaign.  Readers of the email were sent to a page where campaign donations can be made directly to Mc Donnell campaign.

Whoops, and big whoops as the spin below denotes.

On Wednesday, Sam Olivito, the Executive Director of the California Contract Cities Association told HMG-CN that the email “did not in any way seek campaign donations to the McDonnell campaign.  To do so would be in violation of our state 501-C (6) non-profit status.”

........, and any comment from Campaign Manager Becca Doten on this serious issue?

Becca Doten the former Chief of Staff to convicted felon Richard Alarcon is managing the McDonnell campaign. Calls into Ms. Doten and the McDonnell campaign went unreturned.

Maybe Doten was busy checking on a certain vacant CD 7 property?

Your thoughts ..............

Becca lasted one year in her city hall gig. This doesn't surprise me at all. Her morals are very questionable.

Wow. Pretty sleazy article. It's basically lie+suggestion+debunked+allegation+innuendo-ethics=blog post. Zero facts, nothing accomplished, just people hurt. Good job, pal. Real big of you.
