Morning Briefs on the Los Angeles Political Machine for Monday

We bring you this bloggin PSA on the pratfalls of over-indulging in Political Pipe Dreams, that lead to Narcissist Episodes of delusional thoughts of future Political Grandeur, as a former "Failure Mayor" seriously contemplates a run for US Senate.
Objective, discerning Angelinos will never forget the Two Term Reign of former Failure Mayor Antonio Villar (formerly marry to Corina Raigosa).

** Has Tony Villar been over-indulging in a narcissist-based herb, as he puffs and mulls on his future political life, considering this via the LA Times, regarding his supposed serious thoughts of running for Barbara Boxer's US Senate Seat .........., “Too many Californians are struggling to make ends meet, pay the bills, and send their kids to college. They are looking for progressive leaders in Washington who will fight for them, like Sen. Boxer has done for over 20 years,” he said in a statement. “… The urgency of the needs of the people of this great state have convinced me to seriously consider looking at running for California's open Senate seat."
Judging from the reaction over the weekend on Social Media, Tony may want to better allocate his fleeting moments of serious thoughts (and what remains of his political capital), to maybe entertaining a run for a safe seat on the Venice Neighborhood Council, in lieu of comments such as this ......., "Isn't that the old guy with all of the much younger girlfriends...who parties with Charlie Sheen? I wouldn't trust him alone with my 15-year old daughter."
That said, this quick buzz of Tony becoming "Senator Villar", should wear off instantly after reading the final sentence from the Time's missive ........, Villaraigosa is working with his longtime pollster Diane Feldman and strategist Michael Trujillo.
Michael "MEAT" Trujillo.
** CD 4 City Clowncil Candidate Carolyn Ramsey opened her Campaign Office on Saturday with the support of Boss Clowncilman Tom LaBonge and CD 13 City Clowncilman Mitch O'Farrell. The latest fiscal reporting period for all candidates in City Council and LAUSD School Board Elections is today as many observers will be awaiting the tally of contributions in the expensive race to represent CD 4 and elsewhere.

** "The Old Gray Collectivist Hag on Spring Street" (aka LA Times), is reporting that the lower ranks of indicted LA County Sheriff Department Personnel in the Jailhouse Abuse Scandal, are singing a tone to the Federal Grand Jury which should ring ominously in the ears of former bosses Paul Tanaka and Lee Baca. There is no doubt that the Feds want some higher-feeding fish as they seek to bring those in the lead to justice.
Who will face the indicting music first?
Your thoughts ..............
Scott Johnson in CD 14

The hags article didn't say they were singing but pointed out there sentences could be reduced, if the do.

My question is: wasn't that deal already on the table PRIOR to conviction? Why should they talk NOW unless it's to LIE?

Thoughts?
